f391ccfe53 LibGfx+Everywhere: Change Gfx::Rect to be endpoint exclusive
Previously, calling `.right()` on a `Gfx::Rect` would return the last
column's coordinate still inside the rectangle, or `left + width - 1`.
This is called 'endpoint inclusive' and does not make a lot of sense for
`Gfx::Rect<float>` where a rectangle of width 5 at position (0, 0) would
return 4 as its right side. This same problem exists for `.bottom()`.

This changes `Gfx::Rect` to be endpoint exclusive, which gives us the
nice property that `width = right - left` and `height = bottom - top`.
It enables us to treat `Gfx::Rect<int>` and `Gfx::Rect<float>` exactly
the same.

All users of `Gfx::Rect` have been updated accordingly.

3e70d41c57 WindowServer: Always process double clicks for mouse events
This used to be optional and was disabled in two cases:

  - On a mouse move event during dragging; because double clicks are
    only possible on mouse up events, this had no effect.
  - On a mouse event for automatic cursor tracking; this has now gained
    support for double click events.

Since it's always enabled now, we can remove the `bool` argument.

288d75fdab WindowServer: Cycle through menu items with the same Alt shortcut
If there are multiple items with the same Alt shortcut, cycle through
them with each keypress instead of activating immediately.

463aff827e LibGUI+WindowServer: Notify Windows on input preemption
Previously Menus set themselves as active input solely to make
sure CaptureInput modals would close, but this is a functional
half-truth. Menus don't actually use the active input role; they
preempt normal Windows during event handling instead.

Now the active input window is notified on preemption and Menus
can remain outside the active input concept. This lets us make
more granular choices about modal behavior. For now, the only
thing clients care about is menu preemption on popup.

Fixes windows which close on changes to active input closing
on their own context menus.

19d9d5bfe1 Everywhere: Mark Vector of mutable references as mutable
The point of a reference type is to behave just like the referred-to
type. So, a Foo& should behave just like a Foo.

In these cases, we had a const Vector. If it was a const Vector of Foo,
iterating over the Vector would only permit taking const references to
the individual Foos.

However, we had a const Vector of Foo&. The behavior should not
change. We should still only be permitted to take const references to
the individual Foos. Otherwise, we would be allowed to mutate the
individual Foos, which would mutate the elements of the const Vector.
This wouldn't modify the stored pointers, but it would modify the
objects that the references refer to. Since references should be
transparent, this should not be legal.

So it should be impossible to get mutable references into a const
Vector. Since we need mutable references in these cases to call the
mutating member functions, we need to mark the Vector as mutable as
well.

32d59257d6 WindowServer: Ensure menu visibility after pushing menu to the stack
We need to make sure the menu was pushed to the open menu stack before
calling set_visible, as this may trigger cursor re-evaluation, which
in turn expects the menu to be considered open.

Fixes #10836

This prevents an issue where the first mouse event in a newly opened
would not get handled because we didn't think the menu was open yet.

5f8c949ea1 WindowServer: Remove redundant check in MenuManager::open_menu()
We've already returned early if the menu is open, so there's no need to
verify that it isn't present in the stack of open menus before pushing
it onto said stack.

611370e7dc LibGUI, WindowServer: Greatly simplify menubar logic
Currently, any number of menubars can be plugged in and out of a window.
This is unnecessary complexity, since we only need one menubar on a
window. This commit removes most of the logic for dynamically attaching
and detaching menubars and makes one menubar always available. The
menubar is only considered existent if it has at least a single menu in
it (in other words, an empty menubar will not be shown).

This commit additionally fixes a bug wherein menus added after a menubar
has been attached would not have their rects properly setup, and would
therefore appear glitched out on the top left corner of the menubar.

7ae46ae218 WindowServer: Fix menu over-drawing
We only need to re-draw the item being selected and the item being
deselected. We also don't care anymore if applets were added or
removed as we no longer have a global menu bar.

30f531a55f WindowServer: Fix menu location on screens other than main screen
The menus always thought they were being outside of the main screen,
which caused them to be left and/or top aligned. This also fixes the
calculation of the available space by using the screen rectangle where
it will be displayed.

1682f0b760 Everything: Move to SPDX license identifiers in all files.
SPDX License Identifiers are a more compact / standardized
way of representing file license information.

This was done with the `ambr` search and replace tool.

b75d2d36e1 WindowServer: Clean up some of the code around menu item hovering
We were writing to the currently hovered menu item index in a bunch
of places, which made it very confusing to follow how it changes.

Rename Menu::set_hovered_item() to set_hovered_index() and use it
in more places instead of manipulating m_hovered_item_index.

0fc2651303 WindowServer: Support Alt shortcuts inside menus as well
Menu items can now also have Alt shortcut, and they work the same way
top-level menu Alt shortcuts do. This replaces the previous "type to
search" mechanism we had in menus.

9bbc1c9c93 WindowServer+Taskbar: Show applets in taskbar :^)
WindowServer now collects applet windows into an "applet area" which is
really just a window that a WM (window management) client can position
via IPC.

This is rather hackish, and I think we should come up with a better
architecture eventually, but this brings back the missing applets since
the global menu where they used to live is gone.

e76771bfad WindowServer+LibGfx: Show menus in windows! :^)
This patch begins the transition away from the global menu towards
per-window menus instead.

The global menu looks neat, but has always felt clunky, and there
are a number of usability problems with it, especially in programs
with multiple windows.

You can now call GUI::Window::set_menubar() to add a menubar to
your window. It will be specific to that one window only.

5d180d1f99 Everywhere: Rename ASSERT => VERIFY
(...and ASSERT_NOT_REACHED => VERIFY_NOT_REACHED)

Since all of these checks are done in release builds as well,
let's rename them to VERIFY to prevent confusion, as everyone is
used to assertions being compiled out in release.

We can introduce a new ASSERT macro that is specifically for debug
checks, but I'm doing this wholesale conversion first since we've
accumulated thousands of these already, and it's not immediately
obvious which ones are suitable for ASSERT.

35363a972a WindowServer: Reset menu position when opened by the menu bar
Also, only mark the menu bar item as opened if a menu was actually
opened through the menu bar.

These changes allow a menu to be used both in the menu bar as well
as a context menu.

be48a89b35 WindowServer: Fix double click handling while using cursor tracking
We need to first deliver the mouse event and possibly the double click
event and record these facts. Then, we need to iterate all global
tracking listeners and deliver the mouse event (but not the double
click event) to any such listener, unless they already had these
events delivered.

Fixes #4703
