- <li>Launch Virtualbox</li>
- <li>Create a New VM by selecting Machine > New
- <p>Name: Pop! OS 20.10<br />
- Machine Folder: C:\VMs<br />
- Type: Linux<br />
- Version: Ubuntu (64-bit)<br />
- Memory Size: 4096 MB<br />
- Hard disk: Create a virtual hard disk now</p>

- <li>On the Create Virtual Hard Disk dialog
- <p>Name the virtual disk image Pop! OS 20.10.vdi<br />
- File size: 16 GB<br />
- Hard disk file type: VDI<br />
- Storage on physical hard disk: Dynamically Allocated</p>

- <li>Click Create</li>
- <li>Select the VM and Click Settings</li>
- <li>Select System > Processor</li>
- <li>Give the VM at least 2 processors</li>
- <li>Select Display</li>
- <li>Slide the Video Memory to 128 MB</li>
- <li>Select Network</li>
- <li>Set the attached to dropdown to Bridged Adapter</li>
- <li>Select Storage</li>
- <li>Click on the CD-ROM drive</li>
- <li>Select the disc dropdown to the right > Choose a virtual optical disc file...</li>
- <li>Browse to and select the downloaded Pop! OS .iso file</li>
- <li>Click OK</li>
- <li>Make sure the Pop! OS 20.10 VM is selected and click Start > Normal</li>
- <li>Click the Activities button > Search install > Select Install Pop!_OS</li>
- <li>Choose a language > Click Select > Click Select</li>
- <li>Select a keyboard layout > Click Select > Click Select</li>
- <li>Click Clean Install > Click Clean Install</li>
- <li>Select the ATA VBOX HARDDISK > Click Erase and Install</li>
- <li>Click Don't Encrypt</li>
- <li>Wait while Pop! OS copies files and installs</li>
- <li>When the installation completes click Restart Device</li>
- <li>At the Welcome! screen click Next, Next</li>
- <li>Choose to enable or disable Location Services > Click Next</li>
- <li>Select a time zone > Click Next</li>
- <li>Click Skip on the Connect Your Online Accounts screen</li>
- <li>Enter a full name and username > Click Next</li>
- <li>Enter and re-enter a password > Click Next</li>
- <li>Click Start Using Pop!_OS</li>
- <li>Welcome to Pop! OS 20.10</li>

- <li>Click the Applications button > Search "terminal" > Click Terminal</li>
- <li>Run the following commands to install updates

- <li>If the installation autoruns, select Run</li>
- <li>Open the Files application > Select the Guest Additions Disc > Right click in the white space > Open terminal here</li>

- sudo reboot</div>

- <li>Upon rebooting, you can now full screen the VM and the internal resolution will automatically change to match the window size</li>
