  28. <li>Create a New VM by selecting Machine &gt; New
  29. <p>Name: MX Linux<br />
  30. Machine Folder: C:\VMs<br />
  31. Type: Linux<br />
  32. Version: Debian (64-bit)<br />
  33. Memory Size: 4096 MB<br />
  34. Hard disk: Create a virtual hard disk now</p>

  37. <li>On the Create Virtual Hard Disk dialog

  50. <li>Set the attached to dropdown to Bridged Adapter</li>
  51. <li>Select Storage</li>
  52. <li>Click on the CD-ROM drive</li>
  53. <li>Select the disc dropdown to the right &gt; Choose a virtual optical disc file...</li>
  54. <li>Browse to and select the downloaded MX Linux .iso file</li>
  55. <li>Click OK</li>
  56. <li>Make sure the MX Linux VM is selected and click Start &gt; Normal</li>
  57. <li>Press Enter to load MX Linux</li>
  58. <li>Click Close on the MX Welcome dialog box</li>
  59. <li>Click the Installer icon on the desktop</li>
  60. <li>Click Change Keyboard Settings if needed, Click Next</li>
  61. <li>Click Next and then Yes to confirm the partition selection</li>
  62. <li>Click Next</li>
  63. <li>Enter a computer name, domain and workgroup &gt; Click Next</li>
  64. <li>Select a Locale and Timezone &gt; Click Next</li>
  65. <li>Enter a username, user password and root password &gt; Click Next</li>
  66. <li>Wait while MX Linux copies files and installs</li>
  67. <li>Click Finish, the VM will reboot</li>
  68. <li>Arrow down twice and select Boot from Hard Disk &gt; Press Enter</li>
  69. <li>Click Close on the MX Welcome dialog box</li>
