  27. <li>Launch Virtualbox</li>
  28. <li>Create a New VM by selecting Machine &gt; New
  29. <p>Name: Ubuntu 20.04<br />
  30. Machine Folder: C:\VMs<br />
  31. Type: Linux<br />
  32. Version: Ubuntu (64-bit)<br />
  33. Memory Size: 4096 MB<br />
  34. Hard disk: Create a virtual hard disk now</p>

  37. <li>On the Create Virtual Hard Disk dialog

  50. <li>Set the attached to dropdown to Bridged Adapter</li>

  52. <li>Click on the CD-ROM drive</li>
  53. <li>Select the disc dropdown to the right &gt; Choose a virtual optical disc file...</li>
  54. <li>Browse to and select the downloaded Ubuntu 20.04 .iso file</li>
  55. <li>Click OK</li>
  56. <li>Make sure the Ubuntu 20.04 VM is selected and click Start &gt; Normal</li>
  57. <li>Press Ctrl+C to cancel the disk check</li>
  58. <li>When the install dialog displays click Install Ubuntu</li>
  59. <li>Select a keyboard layout &gt; Click Continue</li>
  60. <li>Uncheck Download updates while installing Ubuntu &gt; Click Continue</li>
  61. <li>Click Install Now</li>
  62. <li>Click Continue to write the changes to the disk</li>
  63. <li>Select a Region &gt; Click continue</li>
  64. <li>Enter a name, computer name, username and password &gt; Click Continue</li>
  65. <li>Wait while Ubuntu copies files and installs</li>
  66. <li>When prompted to Restart Now, Select Devices &gt; Optical Drives &gt; Remove disk from virtual drive</li>
  67. <li>Click Restart Now to complete the installation, the VM will reboot</li>
  68. <li>Login with the username and password created earlier in the process</li>
  69. <li>Select Skip &gt; Next &gt; Select No, Don&#39;t send system info &gt; Next &gt; Next &gt; Done</li>
