<h2>Installing OnlyOffice Document Server</h2>

<ol>
	<li>Log into the Linux device</li>
	<li>Run the following commands in a terminal:

	sudo apt install postgresql<br />
	# create the OnlyOffice database, user and grant permissions<br />

	sudo -i -u postgres psql -c &quot;CREATE USER onlyoffice WITH password &#39;0nly0ff1c3&#39;;&quot;<br />
	sudo -i -u postgres psql -c &quot;GRANT ALL privileges ON DATABASE onlyoffice TO onlyoffice;&quot;<br />
	# install redis and rabbitmq<br />
	sudo apt install redis-server rabbitmq-server<br />
	# if running on the same server as nextcloud, stop apache<br />

	<li>Continue the setup by running the following command in terminal

	<li>Change the port from :80 to :801</li>
	<li>Press CTRL+O, Enter, CTRL+X to write the changes to default and close it</li>
	<li>Continue the configuration by running the following commands in terminal:

	sudo nano /var/www/nextcloud/config/config.php</div>
	</li>
	<li>Find the trusted_domains array and add the DNS entry for the OnlyOffice host</li>
	<li>Add the following line inside the array
	<p>&#39;allow_local_remote_servers&#39; =&gt; true</p>
	</li>
	<li>Press CTRL+O, Enter, CTRL+X</li>
	<li>Continue with the following in terminal
	<div class="codeBlock"># restart nginx<br />
	sudo systemctl restart nginx<br />
	# start apache2<br />
	sudo systemctl start apache2</div>
	</li>
	<li>Open a web browser and navigate to http://DNSorIP:1440 to verify OnlyOffice Document Server is up and running</li>
</ol>

<h2>Enabling OnlyOffice Document Editing in NextCloud</h2>

<ol>
	<li>Log into NextCloud</li>
	<li>Click the user avatar &gt; Apps</li>
	<li>Select Office &amp; text from the left navigation</li>
	<li>Scroll down to find the OnlyOffice app &gt; Click Download and enable</li>
	<li>After the download completes, click the user avatar &gt; Settings</li>
	<li>Click ONLYOFFICE in the left navigation</li>
	<li>Enter the document server URL in the Document Editing Service address field &gt; Click Save</li>
	<li>Click on Files in the top navigation</li>
	<li>Click the + icon &gt; Select New Document</li>
	<li>Give the document a name and press Enter</li>
	<li>The new document should load in a word processor inside the web browser and be ready for editing</li>
