  26. <li>Launch Virtualbox</li>
  27. <li>Create a New VM by selecting Machine &gt; New
  28. <p>Name: Windows Server 2008<br />
  29. Machine Folder: C:\VMs<br />
  30. Type: Microsoft Windows<br />
  31. Version: Windows 2008 (64-bit)<br />
  32. Memory Size: 4096 MB<br />
  33. Hard disk: Create a virtual hard disk now</p>

  36. <li>On the Create Virtual Hard Disk dialog

  45. <li>Give the VM at least 2 processors</li>

  47. <li>Slide the Video Memory to 128 MB</li>
  48. <li>Select Storage</li>
  49. <li>Click on the CD-ROM drive</li>
  50. <li>Select the disc dropdown to the right &gt; Choose a virtual optical disc file...</li>
  51. <li>Browse to and select the Server 2008 .iso file</li>
  52. <li>Click OK</li>
  53. <li>Make sure the Server 2008 VM is selected and click Start &gt; Normal</li>
  54. <li>Click Next</li>
  55. <li>Click Install Now</li>
  56. <li>Select the version to install &gt; Click Next</li>
  57. <li>Check the I accept box, Click Next</li>
  58. <li>Click Custom (advanced) &gt; Click Next</li>
  59. <li>Wait for Windows to copy files, the VM will reboot</li>
  60. <li>Enter an Administrator password &gt; Re-type the password &gt; Click the Next Arrow</li>

  62. <li>Welcome back to Windows Server 2008</li>

  66. <li>Select Devices &gt; Insert Guest Additions CD image...</li>
  67. <li>If VirtualBox Guest Additions doesn&#39;t autorun, open&nbsp;My Computer &gt; CD Drive &gt; Double click VBoxWindowsAdditions-amd64.exe</li>
  68. <li>Install Guest Additions accepting the defaults</li>
  69. <li>Accept any driver popups from the Guest Additions installer by clicking the Install button</li>
  70. <li>After the installation completes select Reboot now &gt; Click Finish</li>
  71. <li>Upon rebooting, you can now full screen the VM and the internal resolution will automatically change to match the window size</li>

  73. <li>Download i12bretro Windows SP.iso <a href="https://drive.google.com/open?id=1kCH4j9DmcDZHS3Bw8XlFG7PxJ5y-PR2v" target="_blank">Download</a></li>
  74. <li>Select Devices &gt; Optical Drives &gt; Select disk image...</li>
  75. <li>Navigate to and select i12bretro_Windows_SP.iso</li>
  76. <li>If the VM doesn&#39;t autorun, open&nbsp;My Computer &gt; CD Drive</li>
  77. <li>Open the Server 2008 &amp; Windows 7 folder &gt; Double click SP1 x64.exe</li>
  78. <li>Follow the dialogs to install Service Pack 1</li>
  79. <li>Click Finish to reboot and complete the SP1 install</li>
