          <h2>Things You Will Need</h2>

<h2>Download and Flash OpenWRT</h2>

<ol>
	<li>Download OpenWRT for S905x&nbsp;<a href="https://pulpstone.pw/openwrt-18-06-2/" target="_blank">Download</a></li>
	<li>Download Balena Etcher <a href="https://www.balena.io/etcher/" target="_blank">Download</a></li>
	<li>Run Balena Etcher</li>
	<li>Burn the OpenWRT image to microSD card</li>
	<li>Safely remove microSD and re-insert</li>
	<li>Ignore/close the Windows dialogs to format the inserted microSD card</li>
</ol>

<h2>Booting OpenWRT</h2>

<ol>
	<li>With an unfolded paperclip, press the reset button hidden inside the 3.5mm AV port</li>
	<li>While holding the reset button, plug the power adapter into the Android TV box</li>
	<li>The box should boot into the OpenWRT Linux terminal</li>
	<li>Wait for the text to stop scrolling and press Enter</li>
	<li>Run the following command to set a static LAN IP address:
	<div class="codeBlock">uci set network.lan.ipaddr=&#39;192.168.0.137&#39;<br />
	service network restart</div>
	</li>
	<li>Open a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.0.137</li>
	<li>At the login screen, enter the username root and password root &gt; Click the Login button</li>
	<li>Select&nbsp;System &gt; Administration from the menu</li>
	<li>Under the Router Password heading, enter a new password and repeat it to confirm</li>
	<li>Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save &amp; Apply button</li>
	<li>Enjoy OpenWRT running on a cheap Amlogic S905x TV box</li>
