          <p>NOTE: This is a helpful exercise to get familiar with the XCP-ng user interface and terminology but is not recommended for production use.</p>

<ol>
	<li>Download the XCP-ng .iso file <a href="https://xcp-ng.org/" target="_blank">Download</a></li>
	<li>Launch Virtualbox</li>
	<li>Create a New VM by selecting Machine &gt; New
	<p>Name: XCP-ng<br />
	Machine Folder: C:\VMs<br />
	Type: Linux<br />
	Version: Other (64-bit)<br />
	Memory Size: 8192 MB<br />
	Hard disk: Create a virtual hard disk now</p>
	</li>
	<li>Click Create</li>
	<li>On the Create Virtual Hard Disk dialog
	<p>Name the virtual disk image XCP-ng.vdi<br />
	File size: 120 GB<br />
	Hard disk file type: VDI<br />
	Storage on physical hard disk: Dynamically Allocated</p>
	</li>
	<li>Click Create</li>
	<li>Select the VM and Click Settings</li>
	<li>Select System &gt; Processor</li>
	<li>Give the VM at least 2 processors</li>
	<li>Check the Enable Nested VT-x/AMD-V</li>
	<li>Select Display</li>
	<li>Slide the Video Memory to 128 MB</li>
	<li>Select Network</li>
	<li>Set the attached to dropdown to Bridged Adapter</li>
	<li>Select Storage</li>
	<li>Click on the CD-ROM drive</li>
	<li>Select the disc dropdown to the right &gt; Choose a virtual optical disc file...</li>
	<li>Browse to and select the downloaded XCP-ng .iso file</li>
	<li>Click OK</li>
	<li>Select the hard disk dropdown to the right</li>
	<li>Click the Create button at the top</li>
	<li>Change the size to 500 GB &gt; Click Create</li>
	<li>Click OK to accept the settings</li>
	<li>Make sure the XCP-ng VM is selected and click Start &gt; Normal</li>
	<li>Press Enter to begin the installation</li>
	<li>Select a keyboard mapping &gt; Ok</li>
	<li>Select OK at the welcome screen &gt; Press Enter</li>
	<li>Select Accept EULA &gt; Press Enter</li>
	<li>Make sure the VBOX HARDDISK is selected &gt; Tab to select Ok &gt; Press Enter</li>
	<li>Select Local Media &gt; Tab to select Ok &gt; Press Enter</li>
	<li>Select Skip verification &gt; Tab to select Ok &gt; Press Enter</li>
	<li>Enter and confirm a root password</li>
	<li>Configure the network &gt; Ok</li>
	<li>Specify a hostname &gt; Ok</li>
	<li>Select a Geographic area &gt; Ok</li>
	<li>Set the time zone &gt; Ok</li>
	<li>Select Using NTP &gt; Ok</li>
	<li>Select Ok at the NTP server setup</li>
	<li>Select Install XPC-ng</li>
	<li>Select No at the supplemental packs installation screen</li>
	<li>After the installation completes, select Devices &gt; Optical Drives &gt; Remove disk from virtual drive</li>
	<li>Select Ok to reboot</li>
	<li>Welcome to XPC-ng</li>
</ol>

<h2>Installing Xen Orchestra Web UI</h2>

<ol>
	<li>Arrow down to Network and Management Interface</li>
	<li>Note the IP address displayed</li>
	<li>Open a web browser and navigate to http:// IP address of XPC-ng</li>
	<li>Click the Quick Deploy button under Xen Orchestra</li>
	<li>Enter the password set during the installation process &gt; Click Connect</li>
	<li>Click the Next button</li>
	<li>Set the web UI admin username and password</li>
	<li>Set the XOA machine password</li>
	<li>Click Deploy</li>
