+ <li>Open Downloads in Finder</li>
|

+ <li>Right click HackinDROM > Open > Click OK to confirm opening the application</li>

+ <li>Click on HackinDROM in the menu bar</li>

+ <li>Click Skip to skip setting up the motherboard settings</li>
|
|
|
+ <li>Click Mount across from the current startup disk</li>
|
|
|
+ <li>Authenticate to allow mounting the EFI partition</li>

+ <li>Copy the EFI folder from the EFI partition to a USB flash drive as a backup in the event MacOS won't boot after updating OpenCore</li>

+ <li>Back in HackinDROM, right click the current startup disk > Update</li>
|
|

+ <li>After the update completes, double click Unmount across from the current startup disk</li>

+ <li>Reboot MacOS to verify the system still boots successfully</li>
