Move DB functions into a class instead of generic lib
DB functions altered to allow an override for alternative tables
Remove foowd-version of user, and replace with ours --
this will be updated to use an alternate table for better
aggregation of user info (and because I don't like the users
sprinkled in with all the other objects ..)
