Updates to database impl:
directly use PHP PEAR for DB (get rid of db.mysql.php, etc).
customize DB impl for non-standard indices in other tables (not done yet)

Extern class updates:
use new DB lookup methods
clean up some display elements for speed

move hasPermission method to foowd class
remove from user/anon_user classes

clean up lookups/etc.
