The github.com/containerd/containerd/log package was moved to a separate
module, which will also be used by upcoming (patch) releases of containerd.
This patch moves our own uses of the package to use the new module.

The io/ioutil package has been deprecated in Go 1.16. This commit
replaces the existing io/ioutil functions with their new definitions in
io and os packages.

By default is a demo of file differences, but can be used to create a
tar of changes between an old and new path.
