This patch adds the ability to select multiple entries in a column using
a rubber band selection. Currently the implementation is lacking support
for expanding a selection using the ctrl modifier.
This patch extracts logic for getting colum at an event position and for
getting an index in a column at an event position from
index_at_event_position into separate functions.
Previously we would always select the left most column when selecting a
range of rows.
This patch fixes this issue by always applying a selection to the column
in which the selection ends.
SPDX License Identifiers are a more compact / standardized
way of representing file license information.
