After reading a bunch of POSIX specs, I've learned that a file descriptor
is the number that refers to a file description, not the description itself.
So this patch renames FileDescriptor to FileDescription, and Process now has
FileDescription* file_description(int fd).
Also run it across the whole tree to get everything using the One True Style.
We don't yet run this in an automated fashion as it's a little slow, but
there is a snippet to do so in makeall.sh.
This way you can spam small write()s on a file without the kernel writing
to disk every single time. Flushes are included in the FS::sync() operation
and will get triggered regularly by syncd. :^)
